Dentist’s Career

I am in Health Science in Montmorency College in Laval. It's my first year in this college and my first semester in this program. Health Science is for students who want to become doctor or engineer in the future. In this program, you can become a specify doctor. For example, general doctor, a surgeon, a dentist, etc. I summarize a day in the life of a dentist. To begin, dentist is a health professional job. Dentist are specially designed to take care of teeth. Like the most medical professional, they are some important skills that dentists must be able to do. First of all, they should have a good vision, they must understand medical, they must be good on working manually and finally they have to interact well and have good attitude with their patients. Dentists deal with actions that involve manual manipulation and they are also involved to address the society about the hygiene and health of their mouth. An important part of a dentist job’s is to educate, to learn their patients about different ways to preserve a healthy mouth. Dentists are the best preventatives doctors to have a healthy mouth, specially teeth. They have different schedule from other doctors. Usually they work 7 to 10 hours per day, but sometimes they may work longer if there is an emergency. Dentist life is very identical to any other kind of doctors, except that they have a regular calendar of work. Dentist pays a lot for a liability insurance a part of the general system insurance of risk of financing to protect the insured. To become a dentist, you should study a lot. First of all, you have to graduate from high school, then you have to finish the two years of college and finally you have to graduate, have your doctoral diploma from university after four to five years. Once you finish your study and start working, it could be hard to communicate with your patients, but as you get experience, this problem will be solved quickly. To conclude, dentists are well paid like other doctors.
